The other night, my partner told me about a cat they saw while taking out the recycling that

  • 03
later that day we started to talk about it and decided to check the area in which my partner had

previously seen the cat. To our amazement the cat was there surrounded by others tenants in

around the property for 1-2 months living in a cardboard box with a wet towel and a food dish

had already found the cat and picked them up remarkably easily as the cat had ran up to me after I made some pss pss pss for it. So
  • 13
we took them to the our vet to see if there was a chip or tattoo to get them home to their

owners. Surprisingly there is no chip or any tattoo, but we did learn that it's a She! The next step
  • 15
was to find she fixed as we have a boy cat at home. After the vet left to check via shaving her belly for
  • 16
a post spay scar. The tech discovered that she had sustained some pretty awful trauma on her belly in the form of deep red and
  • 17
black brusing. The vet told us that due to this and some damage to her back paw that she was likely

the victim to a vehicle strike. This broke me and I haven't cried like that in a long time. The next thing we wanted to do was work out

what was best for her, we learned our vet can't take her and sent her home with us until we can get in contact with the SPCA / any

other organizations that can help us look after the medical aid. So now it is the next day and she is
  • 21
staying in our bathroom with in the cat carrier with a towl and some food, water and toys.
